How to create Custom defined infotype..??

Dear Team,

I was trying to define custome defined IT say IT # " 9999" and IT text as "Test IT" by going to below navigation path PM>PA->customizing procedures--->Infotypes.

When i create and save newly created IT Its throwing an error as mentioned below.

Entry "9999" does not exist in T777D. Should we have to maintain this IT name or other details of this IT before creation..???

I guess we have T-code for creation of IT as well. Please mentioned that too.

I would really appreciate if you can Please give me your valuable inputs to make me understand more clearly.

since it is custom infotype yes i think we have to maintain it in configuration

If we are creating new Custom IT then what is need to maintain at config level..?? And as per your suggetions will you please let me know how to configure it at congfiguration level.

And also, which table and T-codes used for the same.
