Remoe client copy Test Run

Hello Expert,

I am planng to do test run of remote client copy from production to Qualit .

Do I have to lock the users in production for test run of remote client copy .

    Hi,

    There is no need to lock the users in production system for test run of remote client copy. Its not required to lock users in Quality system also. Its only needed to be done when you do original copy run

    I would suggest you to do the test run in backgroun processing and also when there is no much load on the system i.e., at less peak time of system usage.

      Hi,

      When you run the test run in quality system there might be little load on the system, but since this is a quality system and as there wont be users working continously like in production that should not be a problem. But again it depends on your hardware config also.

      Hence if you feel that there are users working on quality system then better schedule the same on non-peak hours.
