Steps to update SAP EHP2 for ERP6

Dear All,

am planning to upgrade EHP2 on ECC6 with oracle on HP-UX,

i have gone through Master guide "SAP - Enhancement Package 2 for SAP ERP 6.0 powered by SAP NetWeaver" and First Steps SAP enhancement package 2 for SAP ERP 6.0 "

am not getting the exact scenario, how to start and which Support Packs to download.

Kindly help me the steps to start & proceed.

currently we are on SP :

SAP_ABA KA70022

SA-_BASIS KB77022

PI_BASIS KIPYM12

ST_API KITLRD03

SAP_BW KW70024

SAP_AP KNA7021

SAP_APPL KH6018

Hi,

In order to upgrade your system to EHP4 level, read How to Install EHP4 guide on http://service.sap.com/erp-ehp. Also, check SAP note 1143022.

Start with configuring your system in Solution Manager and downloading the patches as calculated by queue...

Read the EHP4 upgrade guide and follow the phases/steps...

Dear Ashun, Adding to Rahul's reply ... make sure that your Solution manager is sitting on atleast SPS19. This is required when you download the EHP support pack stack from MOPZ(maintenance optimizer) in DSWP.

If your solman is not updated to sps19, then plan sps on your solution manger first so that you can slelect the latest stack information from SOLMAN system

Hi,

Just one more input... We are going to EHP4 SP7 and faced issue in phase SPDA_EHP_INCLUSION...

We were suggested by SAP to go to atleast SP22 in Solution Manager...

Probably could be scenario specific for us , but just sharing...

Hi,

i have gone through the notes suggested.

donwloaded the EHP2 from location - https://support.sap.com/swdc > My Company's Application Components->SAP ERP>SAP ERP ENHANCE PACKAGE> EHP2 FOR SAP ERP 6.0>Installation and Upgrade

and also downloaded SAPEHPi from --> swdcDownloadSupport Packages and PatchesEntry by Application GroupAdditional ComponentsUpgrade ToolsSAP EHP InstallerSAP EHP Installer 7.00

placed the SAPEHPi in /usr/sap/<sapsid> and unpacked --> a folder as EHPI has been created.

logged on through sidadm and started the the command /<installation directory>/STARTUP jce_policy_zip=<policy zip archive>

got the message as HTTP server started. & [info]: SL Controller started.

Starting the Installation GUI as http://<host name>:4239 in internet browser, but not getting the installation screen.

Kindly suggest.

Dear All,

i was on the same phase.

downloaded EHP2 for ERP6.0, uncar the file 51032841\ABAP\SAP_APPL 602/DATA, while applying EHP2 through SAINT, i got struck at phase: XPRA_EXECUTION, error as:

Error in phase: XPRA_EXECUTION

Reason for error: TP_STEP_FAILURE

Return code: 0012

Error message: OCS Package SAPK-602DXINSAPAPPL, tp step R,

return code 0012

after searching & reading note 822380, i have updated TP, R3trans & DW, but still the same problem.

checked all the checks in STMS.

Kindly suggest, what could be the reason.
