OM Object Description change

Hi All,,

Issue with OM Structure:

Created org str. on 01012007,

Root org unit name :ABC

Changed Root org unit name to XYZ on 01012010, now there are 2 records for the object , old name and new name.

We want to restore it to the old name ABC with record starts from 01012007.

When i am trying to do this , system is not allowing to edit from 01012007.how we can fix this?

Hi SD,

Go to PP01 - For object type O - Select relevant object ID - then select Object infotype and hit "Overview" button.

Select the record starting from 01.01.2010 and delete it.

The previous record will automatically be extended.

hi,

objects time constraint is 1. we can not change the objects date directly. Change the time constraint for objects, then change the objects date and descripton.

otherwise delete the old record and create the new record.

Hi For Both Records start date and end Date is different or same

if it different, then you can delet one record and make chage of end date 31.12.9999.
