Asset Retirement by Scrapping

Hi Gurus

When i am doing Asset Retirement by Scrapping without Revenue, i have a problem.

We have 0L and HGB Ledgers

Asset has been created with different useful life for 0L and HGB (e.g: for 0L - 10 years and 5 years for HGB)

We have posted Depreciation for 2 periods (1 and 2 periods), and scrapping the asset in period 3, but the system has taken accumulated Depreciation value as 0L for both the ledgers.

This is a big problem for us now. Please help me.

    Hi

    This is a expected behaviour.. Hence, you should run ASKB periodically, in your case each month

    The differential values will be posted to the HGB and to the new dep area and it will reflect the true HGB picture
