Connecting Sales Cloud with Marketing Cloud AND ERP: code list mapping interference?

Dear all,

We are connecting Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud.

One of the steps in this setup, is to upload a Code List Mapping in Sales Cloud:

However, there is already a Code List Mapping uploaded in Sales Cloud for integration with ERP.

We are concerned that this second Code List Mapping may interfere with the first one for ERP.

Has anyone already had this situation? Can we go ahead and upload the second Code List Mapping for Marketing anyway?

Hi vervinckt.joyca,

yes we had the same problem a while ago and made the mistake to upload the second Codelist Mapping for Marketing.

You're right, there's an interference and you need to be careful and I think you have to use two different communication systems for ERP and Marketing.

Then you should be able to maintain the codelist mappings separately.
