Variable in XIr2 webi using 2 dimensions from 2 two different DPs

I need to create a variable ,a measure object , to calcualte amount . This amount should be derived as follows

DataProvider 1:

Dimension objects:

Product

Trade Date

Expiry Date

No of Contracts

Measure:

Amount (measure)

DataProvider 2:

Dimension Objects:

Product

Expiry date

Contract End Date

These 2 DPS can be linked on 1)Product and 2)Expiry Date

Now what I am required to do is calcuate Amount as follows:

If(TradeDate-ExpiryDate>0;If(TradeDate<>ContractDate;Amount*No.ofContracts;0);0)

However, TradeDate and ContractDate come from different universes. Converting them to detail object does not work, the way it does in Deski.

is there any workaround?

Ram

    Use Merge Dimensions in WebI.

Did you use Merge Dimensions on Product & Expiry Date??

YES, then Are you getting any error in that formula??

    Thank You!!
