S/4HANA Best Practices - How to activate new scope items?

Hello,

we activated SAP Best Practices on S/4HANA 1809 FPS00, excluding a few scope items not relevant for us (regarding like EWM, Ariba, etc.).

Now we want to add and activate scope items that we did not select previously.

Is it possible? How can we do this?

Thank you

Did you do any config after activation of the other items?

It is not recommended to activate a second time, since it will overwrite customizing you might have done. What you can do is create a second instance and transport the additional activated items to the system you want to use them.

Thank you for your feedback!

Luckily we did not make any changes after the first solution activation, so no worries about overwriting.
I assume that we can re-activate again the same scope items along with the new ones without issues.
Is it correct?

I assume it will work out fine.

Just a reminder: You will only touch items with activate functionality. You should have a golden (0000) with the standard delivery of SAP. Now when you find customizing missing you can use an RFC connection from your development system to the 0000 system to do compare and adjust. With that you can also pre populate the customizing for topics without activate.

We managed to activate additional scope items by creating a new solution in /SMB/BBI. Activation was successful.

Thank you!
