Batch size MRP

Hello

I have some individual materials.

Fot those materials, i have individual needs from SD , and collective needs come from Management Demand.

When I run a MRP, for the individual needs, I have one planned order (qty 1) for one need (Qty 1).

For collective needs come from management demand, I have one planned order per date of need, so i can have a qty <> 1, and i want a fixed order by 1, but i can't.

I tried FX Qty 1, FS , but I always have, one planned order per date of need (if i have 10 need for the same date, i will have one planned order with 10 in qty, and i want 1).

How can i do ?

    Christian, you mean that for FX = 1 Lot size , the system is using some other setting and creating the planned order by total day requirement ? It is weird... What is the strategy group in the MRP3 view of the material ? Requirement Group in MRP4 ? Individual / Collective in MRP4 ?

    Christian,

    If you are using FX/1, then all of your NEW planned orders should be for 1. Did you delete the old planned orders before re-running MRP?

    Hello

    in mrp3 the stategie group is empty.

    Mrp4 is individual.

    I don't have any problem with collective parts, the batch size is correct.

    With individual part number, i have a problem, when the needs come from the management demand.

    I have one planned order per date, if i delete manually the planned order, i will have the same problem after running an MRP.

      Usually requirements coming from Demand management are collective, so your problem seems to be in teh proper definition of the issue.

    Yes I agree

    i have two kinds of needs for an individual part:

    - individual needs from Sales orders. with spécific wbs (because I know the configuration)

    - collective needs from Demand management without wbs ( because I don't know the configuration, I use MRP3 configurable material with configure variante)

    So for the collectif needs, it is impossible to have a planned order with qty 1 (I tried FX=1 and FS 1).

    Always the planned order aggregates the qty per date of dependent requirement.

    EXEMPLE:

    if I need qty 8 for 2010.10.10 I will have a planned order for 10
