Error when creating absence record

Hi experts,

The message displayed when creating a new record of infotype 2001 subtype 0100:

End date must be specified (T554S)

However I checked in T554S but found all items have end date "31.12.9999". Could you please help? Thanks.

An IT2001 must have a start date and end date, but Time does not like to have absences with 31.12.9999 as end date because it can't calculate how many absence days there are in that period. The subtype may not be the cause of the message.

check the customisation of the absence in T554s and see there is a check for end date must be specified you can disregard

this and you wont get this message

When creating the Absence record from PA30, please enter BOTH Start Date and End Date in the "Period " Section of the PA 30 screen, before clicking on "create".
