Hi Experts,

I am getting problem while deployment run. Process is : Heuristics generate SNP pur reqs of AG category for vendor location then those will get convert in to PP/DS reqs of AG category. Them I am running deployment, but I am getting error "No SNP stock transfers exist in the planning horizon". I have maintained settings as below:

1. ATD rec in location master

2. Delpoyement profile in product master

3. Product at both source and vendor location.

I am running dep and TLB for plant location and vendor location as i arm doing external procurement.

Please help.

Hi

If you already added BH category in your category group which you added to location correctly than I will also suggest to check ATD category group for product location master data. First it always check ATD category group for product location master data & than goes to location category group.

When you execute the SNP heuristic it creates SNP pur reqs as AG i.e. Distribution Receipt (Planned) at vendor location. If you have maintained the transportation lane between vendor and source , this will get reflected as Distribution Demand (Planned) with different category i.e. BH. When you execute the Deployment at source it will try to check the above demand as Category BH.

I will suggest to check you if you have maintain this category in ATP attached to the locations.

Thanks for quick reply. I have already maintained above mentioned settings. Do we need to maintain any other settings for Deployment and TLB.? Also where can we see "Distribution Demand (Planned) with different category i.e. BH". I have included BH category in my ATD category group.

You have to maintain the pull horizon / push horizon and the type of rule (fair share / push rule ) in the product master of product - supplying location. Also while running deployment you have to specify the deployment horizon.

help.sap has lot of useful information about deployment . Also check the article library in the sdn forum. There are some articles that explain the deployment concept with examples.
