Change sapgw00 on sapgw01

I'm trying to create a connection to SAP BW from Universe Designer. I am not able to browse down the OLAP CUBES. Then i click on Test Connection and i got this error message:

The server is not responding! (SBO0001).

In detail i see port sapgw00, but i need sapgw01.

Where i can change it?

Hi,

open regedit and navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite XX\SAP\BW Publisher Service" and double click GwServ and change the value.

In reestr GwServ=sapgw01.

Hi

then restart BW Publisher this should solve your problem and also make sure in the SAP Gui on the client also you have updated the proper Syste Number as client gather this detail from the SAP Gui settings.

I working on server Bobj, i can logon from Sap Gui to SAP BW.

I change in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\services sapgw00(3300/tcp) to

sapgw01(3301/tcp). Restart server. Try create connection and still get error

"Connect to SAP gateway failed.

Connect_PM GWHOST=XXXX, GWSERV=sapgw00, SYSNR=00

ERROR partner ' XXXX:3300' not reached"

Hi,

please provde me the workflow where you are getting this error.

while creation of a connection you can define the System number (step 3/5 in connection creation).

if you are using the existing connetion for then edit the connection parameters and make sure there the proper System number is mentioned.

I dont have connection to BW, i create new connection.

On step 3 i input login, pass, client, lang, server-namebw(ping ok), sid, sysnumber and get error.

Now i see whan i input sysnumber=01, but in error SYSNR=00.

I think what sapwg00 is default parameter, but i dont now how it change.

I locate in reestr, fs and dont found, may be it stored in mysql db.

Hi,

As far as my understanding for the connection creation the default value will not be considered, it is used only for the BW pulisher, i dont know why and from where your connections are getting this default detail.

I make full reinstall (Edge, Integration Kit, Jco,..) and then can create connection without error and test ok.
