External assignment of numbers from an internal number range not allowed ?

Dear All,

I am trying to record BDC for LT0J transaction and I got error ' External assignment of numbers from an internal number range not allowed'.

When I am running LT0J and giving storage Unit, the transfer order has been created .

But not in the case of LT0J recording(SHDB) .

Suggest me the solution .

    What about function module L_TO_CREATE_MOVE_SU instead of a BDC? There is documentation included in the function module documentation as well.

    are you supplying a number? If so, you should not be doing that...SAP will assign, usually at save, if the documents are numbered internally.
