Fied catolog DO_SUM

Hi

In Field catalog DO_SUM used only for quantity and currency fields?. When I apply DO_SUM for numarics fileds total is not working. Is there any alternative for numeric fields other than wrtting logic for calculation and passing to ALV.

Regards

Raj.

    Hi Raj,

As far I have seen it works for quantity fields.

You can declare a quantity field with 1 or 2 decimal places.

Using fieldcatalog you can suppress the decimal place, in ALV display.

For Example GJAHR field is NUMC the you can write like:

     FCAT-COL_POS = 2.
      FCAT-FIELDNAME = 'GJAHR'.
      FCAT-TABNAME = 'ITAB'.
      FCAT-REF_FIELDNAME = 'GJAHR'.
      FCAT-DATATYPE = 'INT4'.
      FCAT-INTTYPE = 'I'.
      FCAT-DO_SUM = 'X'.
