Data load error !!

Experts !

i have a Flat file Data source, when i try to load CSV from my local workstation, its working fine. but when i try to load thry Server, its giving me an error.

In the Data source itself, when i try to Preview the Data , its giving me an arror

"Cannot convert character sets for one or more characters"

what is it all about.

please help.

Infopack - Select Character Set Settings - Direct entry - > Enter 1100 for char set and save Infopack and Execute load

Hey srini, its working..u r the best.

one more thing...bcoz of this problem, i tried too many combinations to fix it, but didnt worked any. bcoz of that i can see in my monitor lots of red dataload entry.

if i have to remove those, what should i do ?

Hey,

i was wondering...the solution which shrinivs has given is working fine sofar.

But, i checked my other FF Data sources and non of them has characterSet Settings = 1100.

All of them has Default Settings and still they are working.

Why in this case we need to do Direct Entry ?

Any comments ?
