Context in E-Recruiting EhP4

How does context work in E-Recruiting EhP4. Is it similar as Ehp3. In EhP3 when you generate URL you mention context. How does that happen / how does E-Rec know what context need to be used?

The whole idea of context is not present in EHP4 webdynpro applications.

You can use the webdynpro application configuration concept to determine the behavior of the application based on the value of passed parameters...

If you are doing a global roll-out , how does this work out -- some countries have a different requirement compared to the other

Hi,

you create web dynpro configurations for the web dynpro applications. Then you assign the web dynpro configuration ID to the IView. You can define one and the same IView more than once and steer it via the portal roles. So each country gets a different role in portal --> different iview --> different configuration.
