Investigative Case Management

Hi,

I am working on the Investigative Case Management of CRM7.0. My question is that when i create an object in the ICM UI, does it flow to the backend? As this is an individual object it is not to be seen in /nmm03 nor under /nie03. If the answer is it does not flow to R/3 it is available only in CRM, then how can i proceed to create an inventory for this object in R/3, first making it flow to R/3 as any other ? Please suggest. Thanks

Regards

Hi,

Basically this is with respect to ICM(investigative case mngt) objects, in the ICM we have no button as to 'Send to ERP' like we have it for products in the UI. These objects created in ICM fall under the objects but not products so this option is not possible i guess, can u suggest any other alternative. Thanks

Hi,

ICM Objects are set as Products, and the ICM data is stored in ICM tables linked to the Products with the GUID if I recall correctly. They were never intended to be moved to ERP since ICM is a CRM-centric application, and so wouldn't offer this "Sent to ERP" button on the UI (at least WebUI), but as far as I know you can probably move them to ERP the same way you move products, minus the ICM-specific data. I don't have access to an ICM system anymore, but maybe there is something in the Middleware for standard Products, and for the ICM custom data, you would have to code something on your own.

Kind regards,

Hello Sridevi,

I do not think that objects created in CRM would automatically gets uploaded to ERP.

You may have to upload them manually, by using 'Transfer to ERP' button in txn:COMMPR01 or for Web UI.

Also, please make sure that in the customizing,

SPRO>IMG>CRM>Master Data>Products>Settings for Product Type>Allow upload for a Product Type.

is checked for your object type.

Hope this helps!
