Material Ledger Error while doing MM transactions

Hi,

We are getting the below error while doing stock load in 561 movement type..

Material Ledger is not active in valuation area 1000

Message no. C+012

what is the route cause for this error and where can i check for this confguration?

Sarada is exactly right. You may want to also use CKM9 to display the settings of the plant in question. This screen is only a display screen and has a huge amount of information useful in determining the answer to Saradar's comment regarding configuration settings. Compare this screen to a plant that is already productive if you have one.

Hi ,

Material Ledger needs to be activated in your plant before starting any MM transactions. For Valuation area 1000 , ML is not yet active.

Use transaction CKMSTART to activate ML:. Before activating please ensure that all configurations are being done correctly.
