Proxy for Solution Lifecycle Manager

Hello Everybody,

according to the guide "How to Configure Maintenance Optimizier to use Software Lifecycle Manager to Automatically Download and Deploy Support Packages and SAP Enhancement Packages" i have to install an proxy on my(customer) side, that connect to sap cascadable proxy. In my case it' is sapserv2 on port 8080. That is done, but my Proxy Server report that the Parent Proxy Server is death. The used proxy server is squid for windows 2.7STABLE8. SAP Solution Manage Version is 7.01 EHP1.

Overview

- Saprouter is installed and SNC Connection are possible

- SAP-OSS Connection is fine

- Maintaince Optimizier can connect and calc which package can be installed but no automatically download over SLM

The Happiness Check failed - no wondering cuz i can not sap proxy server - at:

1) Update SWLIFECYCL to SP07 with patch level 1

2) Apply notes 1485385

3) You don't need use proxy, it's not mandatory, you can configure your SLM implementation to access the firewall directly without proxy.
