Hi,
can anyone tell me, how to setup movement type 601 to be able to use special stock B. So far DIMP is activated and the special stock indicator is there as well.
Thank you!
Florian
Solved it on my own. I had to copy movement types 561/562 and added some additonal table entries for the movement types.

Hi Eduardo,
here u go... please check the attached document (extract and rename it to .docx)
I have to point out that this will no longer work as soon as you have SAP_APPL 617 SP0007 or higher as SAP changed the logic for customer owned stock in deliveries which does no longer allow its usage. Our customer also opened an incident and was told to stick to the standard.
Best Regards
Florian
Hello Florian,
I think your process can be build by 'Sharing of Spare Parts'.
Please read the SAP documentation about this topic.
You can find it on SAP Documentation for Industry Solution: SAP Discrete
Industries and Mill Products / SAP for Aerospace & Defense.
Please select the segment: Maintenance and Service Processing.
And then you can find the topic: Sharing of Spare Parts.
Standard R/3 MM-IM does not work with the special stock indicator "B".
In the standard system only the following special stocks are available:
E Orders on hand
K Consignment (vendor)
M Ret.trans.pkg vendor
O Parts prov. vendor
P Pipeline material
Q Project stock
V Ret. pkg w. customer
W Consignment (cust.)
Y Shipping unit (whse)
The special stock "B" does not form part of the R/3 system.
As per movement type documentation, 601 doesn't support special stock B.
It is only available in DIMP.
Please check the above SAp documentation path.
I hope it helps you.
