SAP GUI with tabs?

Hello,

I am wondering if a GUI modification with tabs (for clients and/or for sessions) is available ? It' s very tires to working with 10 plus windows and you have to go find which one you want to each time. So if anyone has something on it, please tell me.

unfortunately i dont know a tab solution - but i had the same problem

what solved it for me was win7 and more screens 😃

with triple head to go from matrox you can connect multiple screens without the need to have a high end grafics card

while win7 provides the possibility to use the taskbar (while you mouseover the sap-windows, it makes everything else invisible except the window youre on)

thats what made my life a whole lot easier

Thanks for your information.

I run windows XP, but i use [ viglance|http://www.lee-soft.com/viglance/] which is the taskbar you mention but in windows XP.

It's much more easier, but i think if there were tabs for clients/sessions, i think the navigation it will be much more easier and we will won so many seconds of trying to find the right window!

well another tip i can give you (to easier find your window) is my 4windows1screen method

but it requires som discipline

i usually place 1 window in every corner of the screen, sothat i can still see a border of all 3 other windows

then i categorize every corner ie. 1. coding 2. customizing 3. testing and 4. master data (can vary depending on what you do).

then you have to stick to, only opening a further window on top, if you use it for a short time and can close it again afterwards.

if you need something open over a longer period of time, you use one of the corner windows.

that speeded me up quite a bit. then again, if you have a 2nd, 3rd, 4th.... screen you can expand this to all screens

like dedicating one screen to communication ie. outlook, messenger etc

we need to use what we have

Thanks for your tips,

I do something in common with this and in addition i use[ power menu|http://powermenu.en.softonic.com/] app. I think that SAP should have build-in tab navigation in the future .
