    Jainashu,

    One simple solution :

In material Pipe, maintain alternate UOM as 100 CM = 1 EA(assumption is that base unit is EA).

In BOM of FG product maintain Pipe = 0.8 EA or 80 cm whichever makes sense.

So when Prod order is created system will call for either 0.8EA to make FG product

So you can Goods issue either 80cm or 0.8EA to prod. order. that much qty will inventory reduction will take place.

MMBE can display both in EA as well as CM.

I am sure this helps. Anything else please come back.

    Thanks,

    Ram

      Mr. Ram,

If base unit is EA and in bom i use 0.8 EA. remaining 0.2EA show in stock.

but after make of 5 fg. mmbe is show 1 EA.

it is not show 0.2*5 EA.

i want to 5 pies of 20cm show in the system.

    Dear,

You can create a material 20cm pipe and add bom to by-product ( add bom with - quantity). For Goods issue 4 x 20cm you can create a new bom or just change on PO.

    Regards,

It depends on how you want to display your stock and quantities. Is it cm your base unit of measure ? In that case , your Bom will use 80 cm and the reamaining 20 cm will be parto of your stock.

If on the other hand you pipe is in units and cm is an alternative unit of measure, then the system reserves the component in the basic unit of measure (one unit) and you will be losing all the 20 cm reaminings.

Let us know how do you handle the unit of measure.
