Emergency contact iview in BP MSS 1.41

Hello,

We have a Portal landscape which is NW 7.0 with EHP1 (SP 5) with Oracle 10.2.0.4 running on AIX 6.1.

Now our EP Dev team is looking for Emergency contact iview and not able to find the same.

As a result of that we did some search and found that Emergency contact iview is not included in MSS 1.0, also SAP asks to go back to MSS 60.1.22 to get the iview.

Now my question is if we install the old MSS BP 60.1.22 will it cause any problem for the customisations created using MSS 1.41, can we use two different BP MSS in same system.

Please throw some light on this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Yoganand.V

You need to have compatible frontend and backend

well then in your case you lll have multiple backend system

ie for 1,41 you need EHp4 r/3

for 60* MSS you need Erp2004 system!

Due to java restristions you wont be able to have this both scenarios running

Hello Siddharth,

Thanks for your thoughts.

In our case we have a single backend system connected to EP which is running on ECC 6.0 EHP4 EHP Stack 04.

Our SAP_APPL release is 604 and SP 04, so our BP MSS combination is BP_ERP5MSS 1.41 SP4 which is correct as per SAP.

Please let us know what could be done now in order to get the missing Emergency contact iview.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I'm not quite sure about the situation, but rolling back to previous version is something that i wouldn't do. Create a custom application with NWDS, i'm sure that emergency contact would not that be that hard to code. Cheers
