attchment needed in inbox

Hi,

our requiremnet is during approval when user press button cancel and keep work item in inbox,the work item remains in the inbox of user.but it does not show the required screen to user in the next time.it only shows approve/reject/cancel option,thats it.

so we want an attchement during that time ,so that by clicking on that link user can view the document details and then approve it.

please help.

Hi,

First customize your User decision step, and the create the conatiner with the same Business object used in Workflow.

Than Bind the two container's and it will show you the attachment as link in the business work place.

Thanks for the reply but i'v already tried it and everything is ok.i mean the binding etc as well as i am calling the FM in the method process:

CALL FUNCTION 'OWN_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_GET'

IMPORTING

OWN_LOGICAL_SYSTEM = NOTE_REFERENCE-LOGSYS.

NOTE_REFERENCE-OBJTYPE = 'DRAW'.

CONCATENATE OBJECT-KEY-DOCUMENTTYPE OBJECT-KEY-DOCUMENTNUMBER

OBJECT-KEY-DOCUMENTVERSION OBJECT-KEY-DOCUMENTPART

INTO NOTE_REFERENCE-OBJKEY.

Hi prsahu,

So the first time it shows the link to Approver. Then approver closed the work item with out any decision, and open again. So at this time its not showing the Attachment.

or first time itself its not showing the Attachment?

Also, no need to use the FM OWN_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_GET also. In your business object there is a default method called 'Display' and its responsible for showing the link as attachment.

If everything is fine and still you are not able to open the attachment, then it might be the Authorization issue. Add authorization object SWO_ASYNC to that user.

Thanks for your kind help as always.when user 1st time clicks on work item,it shows the screen and and if he chhose there cancel and keep work item in inbox,then it remains in inbox of user.

when user 2nd time clicks on the work item,it dont show the screen aagain so ta that point of time we need the attchmnet.and i have tried everything.

can u plz provide me ur email id so that i'll send u some screen shots.may b u can guide more by looking to the screen shots.

Hi Prashu,

I am not clear about what kind of attachment it is?

Is it a link to the screen , if yes, what kind of Screen it is, i mean is it like some SAP standard screen or what?
