Currently our users use ECC to create / maintain partner functions for a customer. Those partner functions replicate properly in CRM.
We would like now the users to create & maintain partner functions in CRM. However it is a bit confusing because in CRM, they have to create the sales area first for a customer, then go to the relationship block, create a new relationship, assign sales area and partner function to this relationship.
Therefore, I would like to know what is possible to do in standard or with enhancement to simplify this process:
- in SAP GUI, T-Code BP, Sales Area => There is a tab "partner function". Is there a block "partner function" in CRM WebUI and if so, how can it be displayed?
- if an enhancement is required, is it better to have the partner function maintained under each sales area in CRM WebUI or is it better to have an enhancement that will propose the correct sales area / partner function when the relationship is created?
- in CRM it is not possible to change the partner ID for a relationship. If we want to change the ship-to party for example, we have to delete the current relationship and create a new one with the new ship-to party. Is it possible to change this behaviour? (In ECC, when maintaining partner function, users can change the partner ID for ship to party and do not have to delete / re-create).
