Copy a new movement type like 351

HI,

Please let me know your use of new Movement type as standard movement 351 doent update the Value in the system so if you are creating new movement type just copy 351 and create new with reference.

Which Material type have you posted by 351 movement?

Based on the Material type only material quantity and value posting triggered in accounting.

Let me know if still are facing this issue ...

material type is HALB, and accounting view and standard price are maintained.

You just go to -

Material Management

Inventory Management

Movement Types

Copy,change Mvt types

then Click on Mvt types,here you can copy New mvt type Z51 from 351.

Hi,

If Companies may request a new movement type start with " Z" to differentiate between the inventory posting transaction.

For your example, 351 movement type. copy the existing movement type into Z51

Copy, Change Movement Types

Assuming I want to create another movement type Z51

Goto -> Transaction OMJJ

Select the standard movement type 351

Click copy, then overwrite the 351 with Z51

Click the Enter button, then click Copy all

Select the new movement type Z51

On the left hand column screen, click Reversal/follow-on movement

Fill in the reversal movement type

For the rest of the options, you can leave it alone or change it depending on your requirement
