Automatic "Stock Transfer Order" after UD.

Hi,

I have question related tou201D Usage Decisionu201D as follows (SAP 4.7 Version):

My client wants to create u201CStock Transfer Orderu201D automatically after u201CUsage Decisionu201D to transfer the material to u201CWarehouse binu201D (for externally procured material).

Is it possible with any u201CFollowup actionu201D functionality in u201CQuality Managementu201D if so how to proceed OR this issue is entirely related to u201CWarehouse Managementu201D?

Please suggest.

Hi,

Go to QS51, select catalog 3 for UD, select your plant and then enter. Choose your selected set and then go to Selected sets Codes.

Now, enter "To unrestricted use" in Posting Proposal UD field and select tick mark for Stock screen background for the code group for which you want automatic posting to happen.

Hi

That is possible to work with WM to create the transfer order automatically in standard instead of follow-up action, of course the follow-up action may be also helpful as you can insert your own logic as you want, but this will need more effort.

Anyway, please read the SAP note 566090, this decribes when that is possible or when that's impossible to create the transfer order, please pay attention to the section for QMt.

Also, I guess you need to activate the automatic TO creation for movement type 321 in customization OMKX, please check with your WM colleagues.
