Hi,

If this is your real URL, I don't see how it could work.

Did you buy the sap.com domain name from SAP AG ?

PS: By the way, nobody outside of France knows what is a freebox....

Olivier

Hi Olivier

Thank's for your help.

I do not by sap. com domain name .

I just installed sap demo (Trial version 7.01)

I onely use " sap.com" concatenate to my server nane (sapxp1) as FQDN name in my host file and in the sap profil file (icm_fullname) parameter.

The problem is why outside at home i do not acces the server sapxp1.sap.com? and on the local pc i have acces??

Free box is my box for network acces (it can set rotage parameter)

Thank...

Hi,

which is a thing you should not have done...

Because your server name is NOT sapxp1.sap.com on the internet.

You should read a book about network concepts.

If you want to be able to get access to your web dynpro applicationfrom the internet, you need a domain name known on the internet. You can't just use sap.com.

Buy a DNS domain name or try to use free.fr.

If you just want to do a test from a friend's PC, add a line in the etc/hosts file of your friend's PC with a name and your external (Free) IP address.

Hi,

If you have a public IP and is exposed to internet, then try doing a telnet on the port which you are using in your link.

If you can do that, then try accessing using IP address instead of domain name in the link.

If you are able to do that, then add a host file entry in the other PC and access.

Cheers.....,

Raghu

HI ,

Exactly

Public IP --> Host name (Resolvable from Public Network)

May be you can try ping hostname after adding it to make sure if its working.
