Crystal reports are not accessible outside the report server.

Hi,

Our application interacts with crystal reports server and generates report. the issue is that, the report page is not showing any data when we access the same report from the client side, but within server reports are working fine.

please assist.

What kind of data sources do you access with your report?

What exactly do you mean by "access the report from the client side"? Do you open the report with the Crystal Reports designer or the crystal reports viewer on a user's workstation?

A) we use oracle data source ODBC.

2) What exactly do you mean by "access the report from the client side"?

A) crystal reports are intergrated with our application. the reports are accesible in the server where BO crystal reports are installed, if i try to open the same report on my local machine, it show blank page with some java script errors.

3) Do you open the report with the Crystal Reports designer or the crystal reports viewer on a user's workstation?

A) Crystal reports viewer

The standalone crystal reports viewer providsed by SAP is not able to fetch live data. It will only display the data that are saved with the report.

we are not BO Crystal report resources. can you explain us the previous comments in layman terms.
