Mass Update of Cross-Plant Configurable Material

Hello everyone,

If no configurable item has been assigned to some materials (in other terms, the field MARA-SATNR is empty in the basic data view of their material master), is there a way to assign a configurable item in mass to all these materials?

ex.: Item 1- Item 2 - ... - Item N

We want to assign the same configurable material "X" to these N items.

The reason I am asking is that the field MARA-SATNR is not available in the MASS transaction for the object type "BUS1001" (Materials - industry) that we are using. So it seems that we would need to create either an LSMW project or a CATT.
