Condition on cells

Former Member

Hi,

There is cell reference in the query. The formula in the cell reference is if the number of days is greater than 30, it is 1 else it is 0. Now, I need to get only the records with the formula 1.

When the condition is added, the condition is not effective and the report brings out all the records both with 0 and 1.

How to solve the condition in cells?

Thanks.

Hello,

Please understand the following:

"Conditions are active: If you apply conditions to a query, you

are not changing any numbers. Instead, you are just hiding the

numbers that are not relevant for you. This means that

conditions do not effect Results Rows (same as without the

condition). Zero Suppression works the same way."

Thanks,

Diego Seben.

Cell editor is used for display of data for that particular cell based on some condition not for filtering the records.

you want to display the info as 1 or 0 based on some condition, hence its doing the same, but if you want only the records with value 1 then thats filtering.

use the section Filter with that characterstic >30 or if its a key figure cuse Condition with KF>30 and you will see all the recoreds with value 1 in the report.

hope this help.
