Error: [-119] Database server type not supported on SAP9

Hello Experts,

I am currently created a test page using classicASP to connect to our SAP Test DB using SAP B1 DI.

This is the spec of my machine, DI Version and native Client Version

OS Windiows 10 Enterprise Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.590)

DI: SAP 9.1 Version 910230 SP:00 PL:13 (both 32 Bit and 64 bit had installed)

Native Client: SQL Server 2012 Native Client (SQLNCLI11 64 bit)

SAP DB Version: SQL Server 2012

IIS Version (10.0.17134.1) with Enable 32 Bit Application set to True on Application Pool.

ASP Code:

dim oCompany
set oCompany = Server.CreateObject("SAPbobsCOM.Company")

Response.Write "Connecting...<br />"

oCompany.Server = "TESTSAP"
oCompany.CompanyDB = "TESTDB"
oCompany.LicenseServer = "TESTSAPLic:30000"
oCompany.UseTrusted = False
oCompany.UserName = "TEST_USR"
oCompany.Password = "passWD"
oCompany.DbServerType = dst_MSSQL2012
oCompany.DbUserName = "b1"
oCompany.DbPassword = "b1db"

dim lRetCode lRetCode = oCompany.Connect
if lRetCode <> 0 Then
Response.Write "Error: [" & lRetCode & "] " & oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription() & "<br />"
Response.Write "OK<br />"
End If
Response.Write "Disconnecting...<br />"
oCompany.Disconnect set oCompany = Nothing

Creating object...

Error: [-119] Database server type not supported

Please see attempts already tried out:

1. Use 7 as DBServerType instead of dst_MSSQL2012 -> failed

2. Use IP instead of machine name on Server and LicenseServer variables -> failed

3. Attempt to install SQL Native Client 32 bit -> failed due to CPU not support

I hope we can get this resolve with your help.

Thanks in advance.

    When several users connect to the company on the same machine concurrently, the DIAPI add-on throws this error.

    Its yet to be resolved by SAP.

    Tjandra, Have you checked SAP Note 2710077 - Troubleshooting DI API Connection Issues, or SAP Note 2207964 when connecting from IIS?
