I'm replacing a colleague of mine in building a new version of an existing mobile app. I have imported his project in my web IDE and i'm building Mobile Packaged App, but I get the following error:
not ready for mobile build-the project seems built before but its app is not found in current mobile service backend. Rebuild the project in current Web IDE.
After rebuilding I'm able to build Mobile Packaged App, but as final result it creates a new hybrid app in mobile service instead of updating existing one.
Is there any setting I should add to my project to add a new version to existing mobile app?
HI Anita,
Can you confirm that you are using exactly the same landscape as your colleague to build the app? Are you using the same Mobile Services instance as your colleague did ?
Thanks,
Ludo

I think this is a bug because full stack web ide no longer uses the user settings file (.user.project.json) which used to be used to store the details of the packaged app. This could happen if the app was initially built with the old web ide.
