AE: UNICODE settings

Hi

I've got a file to RFC scenario where i get utf-8 datafiles with cyrillic characters. If i test my input data in the ESR - OM Test - the mapping works fine and my cyrillian characters will be displayed perfectly in the output! If I load this testfile into PI using FCC and check the input data in SXMB_MONI - Inbound Payload - I got wrong characters.

It looks like the AE resp. FCC interprets the char as ISO-xxxx (non-unicode).

Where can i change the settings for AE that UNICODE resp. UTF-8 will be interpreted correct.

use the mode as TEXT and provide the correct encoding in the file adapter

ref: 19. Specify the File Type of the document as Binary or Text

I already use the TEXT mode in my FTP adapter.

This is actually my question. Where can I set the encoding in the file adapter or AE?

Sorry for my quick too answer. I found the setting in the link you provided.

CC settings, processing ribbon, File Encoding = UTF-8 solved the problem!
