XSS for SAP NW CE 7.2

Does anyone know if there is a NW CE 7.2 compatible version of the portal applications ESS 600 and MSS 600 available and if there is a published list of SAP Standard functionality already available for NW CE 7.2.

Thanks and regards

Willem

    Hi Willem,

CE 7.2 is a development environment that allows you to use the latest technology (BPM, BRM, EJB 3.0) to build custom applications and processes. You can then 'surface' these applications in your SAP NetWeaver 7.0 portal via federation since CE 7.2 has it's own portal sans KM and collaboration. As such, SAP delivered applications (i.e. ESS/MSS) are not target for that environment but rather our regular SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.0.

    Hi,

once I guess you know the guide:

    https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPHCM/HOWTOGETRIDOFSPSTACKMISMATCHISSUES

I know, I know, this is about 640/70X and you asked about 720 😊

I already asked the guys to do an update on this wikipage if possible.

Still I think an answer could be found in your own SLD content.

Just make sure it is updated properly as per #669669 and then you can get the answer from its software catalog you can reach from the SLD webui's main page.

My own test system is not updated fully, but I can see for instance that SAP_ESS/PCUIGP 623 (+MSS 620) can be built against 710 packages. If it would be further updated I also could see most likely how about 720. Therefore I think it is worth to go for an SLD content update on your end, and then check the dependencies of the highest SAP_ESS SC.

I hope this gives an idea.

    Best Regards,

    Ervin
