I am using CR v10 for reporting. The report shows great in the report viewer, but when I try to print or export the report I get nothing. I've searched this site and the entire world and can't find the fix for my problem. I've copied files this way and that way and still no luck. Please help me!
Hello,
Need more information...
Version of windows?
Version of Visual Studio?
Patch level for CR V10?
Web or Win app?
Developement or production machine?
Thanks,
Bhushan.

Windows XP
CR V10 10.0.3300.0
VS 2008
Web application
Production
The server is currently hosting crystal reports for a different site, they work fine. We are updating our intranet site. Same reports within a new site, the print and export buttons won't work. The new site is not in the inetpub folder structure, it's on the same level as the inetpub folder, not inside of it. Don't know if that's a problem or not.
Thanks for your help.
My problem is not resolved.

Yes, I did a search and went through several of the threads trying all that I understood.
Do you have to have IIS to use CR 2008 with VS 2008 in a web app? This box I'm using does not have IIS and I'm running with localhost.
I updated to CR 2008, then I installed SP1, then I installed SP3.
Now, before I get to the 'bobj is undefined' error, I get several other errors. The first one is' pe is undefined', then an object reference error. I went into my Business Objects folder and found the crystalreportviewer12 folder, copied and pasted it into the aspnetclient/system/2_5_50727 folder. Now, where should I put the aspnet_client folder. I've tried at the same level as my web-site folder and I've tried it inside my site folder.
My site folder is in a dev folder, which is on the root c: I have no inetpub folder.
Sorry I've been so long before responding, didn't realize it had been that long though. I guess time flies when you're having fun........NOT
If Crystal Reports were a bug, I'd .......................................
try saving the report using the default version which comes with visual studio. i mean crystal reprot basic for vs2008. Open the report in vs2008 and save it again.u should also have the crredist installed onthe server .you can get the CRRedist2008_x86.msi from your PC from path " C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages\CrystalReports10_5".give it a try.hopefully should work

I created the reports in Crystal Report as a stand alone. I mean, the reports are not created from within VS. I renamed one of the reports and opened it in VS and then re-saved it. I also ran the installer you suggested on the server. The buttons still don't work......arghhh I've been working on this too long.
The other tool bar controls work fine. (nav, goto, search, zoom)
Thanks for your help.
Did you read the post from Bhushan that he posted on Oct 5, 2010 re supported versions of CR in your version of CR?
You may also want to see [this|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=64259646] wiki and ensure you are on a supported environment. Otherwise, you are wasting your time...
Ludek
I did read it. I was hoping that since I didn't create the report within VS, that I could still link to it and get it to work.
So, even though the versions are not supported, the only things that don't work are the 'print' and 'export' options? Because the report shows in the crystalreportviewer.
Might be a good time to ask for an upgrade
Thanks for your time Ludek.
