Hello,

Iam using Crystaldelivery to view mij crystal reports.

I have made a report to read in my outlook agenda.

The design of the report is made in Crystal report XI release 2.

First when we open the viewer you can select the parameters and then comes the error message.

Now when i want to view the report in Crystaldelivery or any other crystal viewer (i tried with more viewers) i get the message:

Failed to load database information.

Details: The database DLL crdb_p2smapi.dll could not be loaded.

Error in file: PATH TO THE TEMP FILE.rpt:

Failed to load database information.

Can somebody help me with this?

What makes this error to come up and how can we get the message away and we can view the report.

thx

Hello,

It's not completely clear what you are doing.

You can create the report but when you try to view the report in some Crystal viewer it doesn't work?

What happens if you try to preview the report in CR Designer does that work?

Thank you

Hello Don,

In a crystal viewer (tried several different kinds) i get the error message.

The preview function in the designer works perfectly without errors.

So only in the viewer i have the problem.

Kind regards

Hello,

It's still not clear. When you create the report in CR Designer and preview the report in CR Designer by hitting the Refresh button does that work?

Thank you

Great we are getting somewhere now.

So when you say using other viewers which ones are you using? Is this an application you wrote and distributing the runtime files to a WEB or Application server?

And how did you distribute the runtime files?

If so, what happens if you manually copy that dll to the app server?

Thank you

I did use the crystal viewer who is supplied by Business Objects.

Also coral and crystaldelivery from Groff Automation.

Al the viewers give the same error message.

What i do is open the report with the viewer.

And i transported the DLL to the client computer, but that didn't have any positive result.

Ah, so you are using a third party application to view the reports in.

"Also coral and crystaldelivery from Groff Automation"

Never heard of them before. I suggest you contact them, likely they don't have the MAPI dll available for your use.

Thank you

Well, you are still not giving enough info to suggest things so I recommend purchasing a support and working with a Support engineer to resolve the issue. It's obvious information requests is being lost here so to get this resolved please contact CIC and purchase a case.
