BPC NW 7.5 SP04 - Create IC_MATCHING APP or Not

Hi experts,

I'm developing the consolidation process on a customer, but I'm with a doubt if I have to create the IC_Matching or is better I have just the Legal App. Let's explain the scenario.

The customer just have the local currency, there are 3 version of consolidation (but all has the same eliminations rules), all the reports will be construct on BOJ/Xcelsius , the customer needs 2 reports:

1) Balance Sheet, with 4 columns (1 - Pure Entity, 2 - Eliminations, 3 - Adjustments, 4 - Consolidate)

2) P&L, with 4 columns (1 - Pure Entity, 2 - Eliminations, 3 - Adjustments, 4 - Consolidate)

Seeing they need seems is better to work with just one APP, could you explain why on some HTG we can find the consolidation environment with the IC_Matching and not in others.

Best Regards

Somebody can say what is the purpose to have the IC_MATCHING separate from the Legal APP ?

      Hi Ethan,

Thank you again. I'm concerned about one thing you said, the ICBooking: "These postings are not an inter-company elimination - instead, they facilitate an inter-company analys" What do you mean with this ? I created the IC_Matching and every data which needs to occurs the Interco Elimination I copy from the Legal and the Package ICBooking is requested and I suppose after that the inter company elimination happens, Am'I wrong about my analysis ?

Just to know, when we have to use the ICData and when we have to use the ICBooking ? That is not clear to me.

I found some information at this tread:

And the last one, there is a way to determine the DATASRC and Flow destination when executing the ICBOOKING ?

      Best Regards

      Alexandre
