File-RFC-File synch

Hi All,

I have this scenario: FlatFile1->PI7.0->RFCsynch->PI7.0->FlatFile2.

I've followed this guide

http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/File-RFC-File%28Without%20BPM%29

to realize my scenario without BPM.

The Sender File Channel reads File1 from folder and starts the flow.

The request and response RFC it's ok, but the receiver File Channel writes the response inside the original File1 maintaining the same name.

In the Receiver File Channel configuration I've configured a differente filename.

Is it a correct behavior?

Could I write the response to a different file name?

thanks

Daniele

Not sure why wiki does not have the problem.

The one workaround for you is to pass the file name in payload in response mapping program,

then in your response file adapter, you can disable the ASMA and use the name passed from payload.

      Hi Liang,

Your workaround works fine. Disabling the ASMA, the receiver file channel uses the filename specified (or from payload if needed).

File->RFC->File synch scenario without BPM is OK now!

      Many Thanks

      Regards
