Hi expert,

I get the following error when trying to preview "Start Processes" (which i believe is the iview for HCM form and processs)

no jcoMetadata found for RFC function 'HR_ASR_WDA_SET_EMPLOYEE

The funny thing is there is no such function in se37. Does HCM form and process required newer version?

We are running ecc6.0 (no EHP)(ea-hr 48), netweaver 7.0 with sps of level 22. just for the info PCR and ads are running properly. Many Thanks

Thank you for the response. However we are on the SAP_Basis level 22. Would that mean that the only way to implement HR form and Process is to upgrade to ehp1 ( i cant recall EHP1 is needed as prerequisite for HCM F&P). Many Thanks.

Hello Salim,

the error you are getting is because the RFC HR_ASR_WDA_SET_EMPLOYEE is available from EhP1 release onwards.

The only way to make this work would unfortunately be an upgrade of your SAP_BASIS patch level. We highly recommend that you move from SP16

The feature which you are trying to access through the General information page requires some additional backend modules that are delivered through SP16 for the SAP_BASIS 700. More precisely, with this patch level, you will have function group HRASR00_WDA_SET_GET_DATA deployed against your backend.That particular function group will contain HR_ASR_WDA_SET_EMPLOYEE that is absolutely needed.
