Update pricing at header level leading to Zero values

Hi Experts,

When we use update pricing (Retain Manual changes) at header level in

sales order the billed items leading to zero values.

We use sales orders with billing plan (Periodic billing) to update

pricing against contract document, when we are using update (Retain

manual changes) option, then system converting all the billed billing

request items to 0.0 values.

Can you please help with resolution.

    Hi Satish,

    well its difficult to tell you the root cause, but to get a better understanding of the issue I would suggest the following to you. Try to activate the user parameter PRC_TRACE = 'X' for your user via transaction SU3. Then try to replicate the issue in SAP GUI. As you trigger a new pricing now you will find more detailed information now, what happened throughout pricing on each items conditions tab via the accesses button. E.g. you will find whether a condition record was found or not and what attributes have been used to retrieve the data from the database.

    If this does not help to understand the root cause I would recommend to check the VMC log via transaction SM53. You could also increase the log level for a test run. You should check for any exceptions being raised as you trigger the pricing update.
