hi,

The problem is to do with the GUI coonection to the server, could be a network glitch...

Try increasing this parameter.

Default is 60 secs. But use it wisely dynamic via RZ11 ECC6.

rdisp/max_hold_time

The parameter "rdisp/max_hold_time" will not solve the problem, in fact it can even hide the true root cause, I do not recommend increasing this parameter without a thorough analysis of the need.

In short, the process has exceeded the maximum time waiting for “actions” from the front end, this is usually related to slow/intermittent problems on your local network or the version of SAPGUI on the front end.

I recommend that you check with your network team its quality and performance, a simple test "ping -t" you can have a macro view of the response time and packet loss, also update the SAPGUI version on the front end.

Good luck!

This was due to network issue, is your network stable? can you please check this with your network admin?

Hi,

This type of error occurs when the connection between GUI and the server is disrupted. Make sure that there are no restrictions in network/firewall/any anti virus programs.

Hi,

This is purely network issue. Please check if there is network glitches from your frontend.

If the issue has been resolved, please close the thread and share resolution tips. Thank you

This error message means that the SAP server (a workprocess) wanted to send data to the frontend (SAPGUI) but the frontend didn't either confirm that the data could be sent or the data didn'T reach the frontend at all.

As already specified in the error message itself this can be caused by a slow (swapping) frontend or by network problems.

Another reason can be local firewalls or firewalls between the server and the frontend.
