Hello,
One of our customers are looking to upgrade from 11.5 to 12.0 but due to cost constraints they are looking to go on for 32 bit hardware. Based on some research our Basis person indicated that NW 7.0 32 bit support release in longer available in Service Market place and all NW releases support 64 bit only.
Can anyone please guide me how can we download from Archive for 32 bit or do we need to make any special requests to SAP.
Also I would like to know will there be any impact if we go with 32 bit especially compatibility with higher Service patches and application stability.
Any suggestion or guidance is deeply appreciated.
Regards,
Adarsh

Hi Adarsh,
According to the pam, http://service.sap.com/pam, 32 bit installs exist for windows and linux, but are not recommended for productive use.
I see the downloads available at
Installations and Upgrades - Entry by Application Group - SAP NetWeaver and complementary products - SAP NETWEAVER

Jamie
Thanks Jamie.
I just checked back with our Basis Consultant with your above suggestion and he responded back saying u201CI need SAP NW 7.0 SR2 because the currently available SR3 doesn't support 32 bit, when I download SR3 and unzip I cannot find an option to install NW Java on 32 bit machineu201D
Found a SAP note related to this issue "1108852"
Any other suggestions Jamie.
Thanks a lot again for your responses.
Regards,
Adarsh
