'no specification is assigned to item material' error in BOM-BOS

Hello,

I facing an error in BOM-BOS transfer as "no specification is assigned to item material ___". I have done all the settings as required and also checked env. parameters as specified. My parent material is FERT and the components are ROH. The Bom is created successfully. When I create transfer through T code CG37 by selecting the BOM item i get the error mentioned above even thhoug the specifications(REAL_SUB) are assigned to respective materials.

Awaiting your helpful suggestions.

Thanks & Regards,

Ashish

Hi cristoph ,

Thanks for the thread links sent. I have gone through the discussions and verified that the check points given in those threads are perfectly ok at my side and there was nothing that I found as missing in my customization. Still I am getting the same message log as mentioned in the thread above.

To cross check the same issue I tried BOM-BOS transfer in another server, which is not at all linked with the current server where i am facing the error. Here too i faced the same problem but slighlty different. Here when I run the cg37 t code the system doesnot generate the worklist for my BOM item. message "No data found" . I know there is a thread some what related to this issue only in the link you sent but here too the seetings as perfectly ok.

Regards

Ashish

Hello Ashish

I found no recent OSS regarding the interface. If you use cg02 with the material numbers from the BOM: can you find the corresponding specs (REAL_SUBs)? Are the specs located in the same authorization group? Does the user (which would like to use the BOM BOS interface) have read access to these authorization groups so that he/she can create the BOS using the specs? Is the FERT or ROH material linked to exact one corresponding spec (REAL_SUB)? Did you made the spec material link using EH&S or MM?

With best regards
