one material extention to different sales areas and Act .ass.grps?

Hi,

I have one material for which i need to extend the material to different distribution channels,divisions and account assignment groups in this case can i extend one material to different sales areas as mentioned above or i need to create one more material with same material master data except the sales view data?

Hi

The division thing in the material master is a part of the MARA table and not the MVKE table. It is a higher level table than MVKE as it is the general settings of the material. The material master unlike the customer master does not have the classification as sales org, dist channel and sales division. The division in the material master is the materail division which is for the material as a whole and is valid across all sales orgs that the material is assigned to.

Go to table MVKE through SE16 and check by putting the material in the selection. If it shows two lines, one for each sales org then your material exists in both the sales orgs.

I have extended the same material to 2 different distribution channels and divisions but when iam checking in display view of MM for different distribution channels divions should be different as i have given divisions also different but in my case the last saved division only appearing for both different distribution channels.

Second thing in MVKE table iam not able to find the division field(SPART)?

Is iam missing any setting?

If your extended material for both entries correctly, you can find these entries in the table MVKE.

Please check both entries available in the table or not.

Hi,

pls go to MM01 and put the same _material number ,just the new sales area and press enter -Like this u are

extending the material to diferent sales areas.

Use MM41 in case you are working in retail system.

I extended already, for example i created with sales area like this 1000-01-01 and i want to extend to 1000-02-02 same material and account group also different. i have done already but what ever i saved last that is showing on master data but i need both.
