Hello,
I need to understand if the Red hat directory Service (LDAP) and SAP ECC can be integrated.
Someone of you tried to apply this scenario?
Is it possible?
regards

Hi Bruno,
I am afraid to say it is not possible (as of me - Not 100% sure). In the [SAP Note 983808 - Certified LDAP servers|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap%28bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==%29/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=983808] you can find out the list of SAP Certified vendors.
If you choose to go for other venfors like IBM Tivoli or MS Active directory etc. then it would make your life easy from operation as well as maintenance point view too.
There are some steps common for Directory Integration in SAP irrespective of Dirrectory services provider/vendor. The following SAP Notes can be used as jump start.
188371 Configuring the LDAP Connector
793191 FAQ: User master synchronization with LDAP directories
386762 Active Directory LDAP Integration and R3SETUP
