Crystal Reprt to Rich text format not saving

Hi,

we have a Powerbuilder Application that uses crystal reports 7.0.

This application is installed in both the Windows XP and 2000 server machine.

Here we are facing one issue. After generting the report and tries to export it to 'Rich Text Format' nothing is happening.

But for the other formats like word, Excel it is giving Save As window for selecting the path where to save and once we click ok it is saving.

This is not happening with RTF format, Please give the solution for this.

I moved your post to the Legacy Application Development SDKs forum.

I suspect you did not deploy the dll responsible for export to RTF. CR 7 having shipped about 12 years ago, I don't remeber the name of the dll. What you want to do, is find a box that has CR 7 installed on it. Find the export dlls and one of them will have a name that will indicate export to RTF. Alternatively, you can use the [Modules|https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100006252802008E/modules.zip] utility. Run the report in the designer, export to RTF, save the modules log. Then do the same in your app. Compare the two logs to find out what dlls) are missing on your runtime box.
