Webi and BW Hierarchy-Promts Error WIS 10901

Hi together,

I'm using Webi in Combination with a SAP BW Query. BO is 3.1 with FP 2.9, on SAP-site it's SP07.

I've got an infoobject with a hierarchy. In the Query I've got a hierarchy-variable on this hierarchy.

The variable is optional.

Using Bex-Analyzer I can use the variable to select nodes from the hierarchy and it works fine.

I've got a universe on the Query and want to create a Webi on this universe.

When prompting the variable in webi and trying to refresh the LOV I get an Error WIS 10901.

Has anyone an idea how to solve this problem?

Kind regards!

Lars

I'm not sure if I really understand what u mean.

Replacing the hierarchy variable with a normal variable works fine.

Hi,

Also using a mandatory prompt doesn't solve it.

I've also used different kind of hierarchies, with/without textnodes, with/without foreign characteristics.

Okay fine,

Can you drag the object to Query filters pand and InList - operator and Operand-- Value(s) from List ... Now what you can see??

Thank You!!

HI,

yes there's a keyfigure in this report.

The complete message is: A database error occured. The database error text is: .(WIS 10901).

Kind regards

Lars

Can you see the data for the Object at BEx level??

Can you drag the object to results objects and see whether you are getting data or not at report?? YES, then use it in Prompt.

Thank You!!

Hi,

yes, I recieve data in Bex.

I also get data in the Webi when not refreshing the parameter, because it's an optional one.
