I want to upload 100+ serial numbers in MIGO for making the GR. The screen only allows 06 numbers at a time. Is there any option to upload all at one time.
Check your Qty in GR, if the qty is 6 then you can only able to enter 6. If your qty is 100 then in serial number tab you can enter 100 serial numbers.
I faced the similar type of problem. What type of serial no profile you are using? There are three option 1. Manual entry of serial no. 2. System will automatically create serial no. 3. System will allow you to create serial no at the time of MIGO itself.
If you are using the first option then there is no standard way to enter the serial no more than 6 no. But yes as already advised to you, use the userexit and do suitable changes in the MIGO screen. Its possible because i have done the same. Here now we have option to copy paste 7000 serial no at a time and to upload serial no from excel file too.
So discuss with your ABAPer and use the exit on MIGO screen to solve the issue.
mohar - i've a similar requirement. we have copied the standard 0001 profile to Z001. Procedure - MMSL, Usage03, EqReq01. Only making sure the serial numbers are unique, no equipment record creation.
Issue - During GR, user must be able to automate the entry of serial by an upload functionality or if there is any standard way established in SAP.
Looked at IQ04 possibility, it solves or address the issue but we don't want to add that step. already there is an excel sheet carrying serial number info, and that needs to uploaded during GR for the quantity being receipted.
