how to do validation in OVS?

Hi experts,

I have ovs for input material numner in my view, I use PLANT, SALESORG and Channel as the selection field in OVS, when the input for those fields do not got any result, the WDY got error and the message said, OVS:Methos SET_OUTPUT_TABLE Cannot be called.

How could I show a message in the OVS window if no result is selcted according to the users input?

Please help.

Your OVS interface IF_WD_OVS (ovs_callback_object) has a method named as SET_MESSAGES, you can probably use it to display messages if result is empty.

You can do this in phase 2 after trying to fetch results.
